7 Sacred Sutra Rain of Nectar of Truth
Sin
"Has sin real existence?"
- Go back to the Cherub.
One hears the voice of the Angel who answers:
All that truly exists are
Only God and that which comes from God.
Since God is Perfection,
Everything that was created by God
It is Perfection too.
Then I ask:
Do you consider sin to be perfect?
Answer the Cherubim:
"Master, sin is not perfection."
The Angel continues:
Sin is not Reality
Because it is imperfection,
Sickness is not reality
Because it is imperfection,
Death is not reality
Because it is imperfection;
Do not consider Reality
Which was not created by God.
Do not be afraid of imagining what is nonexistent,
Like a nightmare.
Sin, sickness and death,
Because they are not God's creations,
Are unrealities, are falsehoods,
Although they wear the mask of Reality.
I came to rip this mask off.
And show the unreality of sin,
Disease and death.
In the past, Sakyamuni came for the same purpose;
Jesus Christ also came for this purpose.
If sin really existed,
Not even the Buddhas of the Universe could extinguish it;
Not even the Cross of Jesus Christ could extinguish it.
But you are happy, for sin is unreality,
Shadow of illusion,
The buddhas all of the Universe redeem men
And well have put away their sins.
Also Jesus Christ, using only words, said
"Thy sins are forgiven thee"
And well extinguished sins.
I also, through the Word,
I write poems by Seicho-no-Ie
And by the Power of the Word reveal the nature of sin
And cause sin to return to its original nothingness.
He who reads my Words
Extinguishes all sins,
Because he knows the True Aspect of Reality.
He who reads my Words extinguishes all diseases,
Because he knows the True Image of Life,
Overcomes death and lives forever.
